Bloating, indigestion, discomfort and abdominal pain
@justineskye

Buh-bye, bloat, indigestion, discomfort and abdominal knots. Hello, toned abs, regularity, and deeper sleep. Let's look at how to use lymphatic drainage massage to alleviate bloating.

Lymphatic massage accelerates the release of stagnant toxins that may be making you lethargic, heavy, achy, bloated, slow to heal, and prone to common colds and illness. Massaging your belly is easy and has a ton of benefits:

  • Improves your digestion

  • Calms your nervous system

  • Helps you get better sleep

  • Reduces menstrual cramps

  • Reduces emotional stress you may be storing in your belly

Ready to try it? Here’s how to do an abdominal self-massage:

@natalieheso

  1. Lie down so you’re comfortable.

  2. Begin with deep breathing. Before you start your massage, spend a few moments relaxing. You want to get your mind and body relaxed to help the massage be as effective as possible. Take around five deep breaths. Inhale slowly, hold for a moment, then exhale slowly. Try to keep up this slow, steady breathing through the massage. Remember, focus on getting to a calm state.

  3. With a small amount of oil or lotion, gently massage your abdomen by following the steps outlined in the video above.

  4. End with five deep, cleansing breaths.
